This is a fitness/ healthy lifestyle and exercise blog documenting me as I attempt to go from skinny and unhealthy, to strong and healthy.
Fit For The First Time
Why?
Because If you fall down seven times, you only need to get up seven times, and you’re up. If you fall down seven times, then stand up seven times..how do you stand up an extra time without falling down to get to that magic eight?
Overhearing bad advice, one of many gym frustrations. It is better to not do it all than to lift with bad posture.
My new purchase! Finally I can stop lamenting being away from my gym (Which is at uni, I just moved back home) and start working out properly again.
I’ve basically just had a two week break from strength training and eaten rubbish (Easter is not the friend of a healthy diet). I’m super excited to start building up my garage gym.
p.s. I know the barbell isn’t a 20kg one, and the weights aren’t crossfit style colourful bumpers but I’m not made of money and this is a good start. I’ll add things as I go along. This summer is going to be spent working out. Then working out again.
